About the ruble exchange rate from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation
The US dollar to ruble exchange rate from the Central Bank is the basic information for foreign exchange transactions of commercial banks. Therefore, everyone is closely following the official publication of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation the relationship of the Russian ruble to the US dollar. Currency exchange operations directly affect the value of this indicator. Massive interventions of American banknotes undertaken by leading players lower the Central Bank dollar, with the next maturity of Russian banks repaying foreign loans, it rises. Exchange offices of credit institutions instantly respond to the slightest fluctuations in this indicator. Urgently converting rubles or euros to dollars can be difficult, as the American currency sometimes rises in price in just a few minutes. For a profitable exchange, you need to observe for some time the behavior of the main players in the exchange market. If you often need to know the exchange rate: the dollar is growing today, the ruble or the euro - just subscribe to our page. The US dollar is the world's main reserve currency, which replaced gold. In addition, the US dollar is the main currency not only in America itself, but also in other countries of the world. It is a legal tender in almost all countries of the world. One dollar is 100 cents. Today it is difficult to recall at least one country in the world in which the US dollar would not be accepted for payments for goods and services. About 80% of world trade is served in US dollars. Also, this currency is the main one on all world financial exchanges. The share of the American dollar in Swift transfers from 2013 to 2014 was approximately 42%, while the euro accounted for only 32%, the yuan and the ruble - 1,4%, and 0,35%, respectively. Today in circulation you can find banknotes in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 dollars and coins of 1 cent, 5 cents, 10 cents and 1 dollar. The face value of the maximum banknote is $ 100, but in the period up to 1969 there were banknotes with the face value of 1000, 5000 and 10000 dollars. A banknote of $ 1934 issued in 100000 was used only for settlements in the Treasury and the Fed. Coins and banknotes depict famous American figures such as John F. Kennedy, George Washington, Frank Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Willis Grant, Benjamin Franklin and others. Each year, 35 million banknotes of various denominations are issued in the United States, while almost 95% of all banknotes are used to replace already worn out money. In 2015, there were rumors that a banknote of $ 10 could be issued with a picture of a woman, but these rumors were not confirmed. Already in 2016, a new banknote with the image of Hamilton was issued. A $ 10000 banknote depicted Salman Portland, who was the first American politician to coin the phrase “In god we trust” on coins. It would be naive to assume that the US Federal Reserve does not provide a high level of protection for US dollars. By the way, only one company in the world has the right to create paper for the manufacture of genuine currencies, and the only organization to whom they can sell this paper is the US Federal Reserve. The ink for banknotes is made according to a unique formula, which is still a secret of the US Bureau of Printing and Engraving. Dollars are additionally protected with a microprint, they began to be created back in 1990, and in 1996 the level of protection grew even more. A unique $ 20 banknote was created in 2003, and in 2004 a new $ 50 banknote appeared. New banknotes in denominations of 10 and 5 dollars appeared in 2006 and 2008, respectively. The design of banknotes is subject to change every 7-10 years, and this is done in order to effectively fight against counterfeiters, despite the fact that old banknotes are withdrawn from circulation, their owners can still successfully exchange them for new ones. Only 12 financial institutions of the country have the right to issue dollars; all of them are part of the Federal Reserve System. Now let's talk in more detail about the means of protecting US dollars from fakes. On the front side of the banknote, in the lower left corner, there is microprinting. If we pay attention, the denomination of the denomination of the bill is clearly visible here. On the lapel of presidential clothing, you can see the inscription “United States of America”. If we pay attention to the banknote by looking against the light, we will see a repetition of the portrait of the president. A watermark is another protection against fakes, no less important than a protective thread. We can consider the latter, paying attention to the banknote against the light. On it we will see the inscription “USA”, as well as the face value of the banknote. The security thread emits a red glow if we look at it through ultraviolet light. In some sections of the banknote, you can also notice colored fibers when viewed through ultraviolet light. As we said earlier, a special paint is used to produce American currency banknotes. It changes its color at the moment when you turn the bill on the other side, to black from green. Particular attention was paid to the most popular $ 100 banknote, which is most often falsified. Here we can see how when turning the bill, the bells turn into the number 100. You can notice the blue and blue protective 3d tape, the presence of the inscription “United States of America” on Franklin’s collar, and simply at the moment of turning the banknote, the images printed on it will change their color.
